Uploading a File to the Webserver

  • Login to your Hosting Control Panel
  • Click on the Link called File Manager
  • Select the folder Web Root (public_html/www)
  • Click Go
  • Select the folder you would like to upload the file to. *
    go WEBSITE / go SHOP users:
    • If uploading a file (i.e. PDF) to link within a webpage, navigate to the folder called uploads, then the subdirectory file
    • If uploading an image to use in a webpage, navigate to the folder called uploads, then the subdirectory image
  • Click on the Upload link in the top row of icons, and a new window will open
  • Browse to your computer and select the file you need to upload - it will upload automatically
  • Close the Upload window, and you should see the uploaded file
  • Repeat this step as often as required

 

* To open a folder, double click on the folder icon to open it, not on the name of the folder.
