Adding a link

  • Select the text (or image) you would like to add the hyperlink to
  • Click on the Insert/Update Link button (symbolised by the globe with a chain link)
  • Enter the link.  Recommendation: Browse to the page you would like the link to go to, then copy the URL from the address bar.  This will prevent broken links if you accidentally type the link in wrong.
  • If the page is linking to a page outside of your website, we recommend you set the link to open into a new window.  Do this by clicking on the Target tab on the Insert/Update Link section, and then select the "New Window option".

NOTE:  You can also add a link to an image by following the above steps, but select the image you would like the link to be from, instead of the text.
