Copy and Pasting content into your website

If you wish to copy and paste information you have prepared in an application like a word processor, you must paste the content into the webpage editor as "plain text".

Why?  If you paste directly, the text formatting from the application also gets copied, and will override the website styles and uniformity of the rest of the site.

Process for Pasting as Plain Text:

  • Copy the content from the application
  • Open the relevant page in your website administration system
  • Select where you would like the text to appear
  • Click on the icon symbolised by a clipboard with the 'T' on top of it
  • Reformat the text
