Sending an email Newsletter

NOTE: Only available if you have purchased the Newsletter Module.

  • Login to your Website Administration System
  • Click on the Email Link
  • To add a new newsletter, Click on 'Create a new email'. 
    To update an existing email, find it in the list and select the update button.
  • Greeting: Select the greeting you would like to use
    NOTE: the recipients name will be inserted automatically after the greeting
  • Subject: Enter in the email subject
  • Message: Enter the message
  • Click Save Email

Now it is saved, you'll be able to send it at anytime:

  • Find the email in the list, and select the Send button
  • You will see the email on the screen
  • It is recommended to send a test email to yourself to check the formatting - using the 'Send Test' button
  • Once you've checked the test email and it displays ok, send the email using the Send button

The system is configured to throttle the sending of emails, to prevent overloading of the web server.  There are a maximum number of emails that can be sent per hour, so the system will automatically batch the emails for you to send each hour.

Once the email has been fully processed, the email will be locked to prevent you accidentally sending it again.
