go FORWARD - Adding Options to Products

Click on the Products menu option in the top menu
Select the category the product is in (or search for the product from Version 4 onwards)
Find the product in the list
Click on Update Details
Scroll down till you find the section with the attributes as per your site configuration. (i.e. Size / Colour etc)
Select the Manage link beside the attribute you would like to change
Update the attributes with the selectors
Click Update when complete
