If you can receive mail from our mail servers but cannot send to them, and you are a Telecom Xtra customer, it is highly likely Telecom is filtering Port 25 (the port mail is normally sent on) to prevent you doing so.

We've really enjoyed the journey of working from our home based office, as we've concentrated building a strong brand in the website development market, but it's time we were closer & more assessable to our customers and the business community.

We thought it was high time we put a go FORWARD page up on Facebook, so if you have a Facebook account, add us as a fan. That way you'll be right in touch with what's happening here.

I am reading a book at the moment called the Brand Gap.

Three questions are asked:

1. Who are you?
2. What do you do?
3. Why does it matter?

The first two questions are relatively easy to answer, the third a lot more difficult, as the answer must be short, innovative, and demonstrate what really differentiates you from the competition (why someone would buy from you and nobody else!).

Example: John Deere:

1. We are John Deere.
2. We make farm tractors and related equipment.
3. It matters because generations of farmers have trusted our equipment.

Here is the email we have received from Jasmine (who was a Year 13 New Plymouth Girls High Student in 2009) notifying go FORWARD of her fantastic news.

Thanks to your assistance in the construction of the website;  I was successful in being granted a ‘Technology Scholarship’. My fellow classmate Penny and I are the first ever recipients from New Plymouth Girls' High School to have the honour of receiving this.

Thank you dearly for your help; as I definitely could not have accomplished this without your expertise. I managed a huge feat while doing this project; as I had to learn and understand a totally new skill.

I am amazed at the wealth of knowledge you possess, and your kindness to mentor me in your free time. It was an adventurous and enlightening experience spending that time with you, which I valued greatly.
