Image quality and uploading to your website

Files from your digital camera can be large, and too big to use on your website. 
Conversely, images can be too small and lose their quality when uploaded to your website.

It is recommended that you reduce the size of your photos before uploading to your website to no greater than 1000px wide.  This will also reduce the upload time considerably.  

If you are uploading images to your photo gallery, or adding images to your products, the upload size should be no less than 800px wide (Ideally 1000px wide), or the images will lose there quality as they are enlarged.
